Thresh

Thresh is the male tribute from District 11 in the novel The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. He is described as being dark-skinned, extremely tall, and “built like an ox” (Chapter 9, 70%). 

Though Thresh is one of the most physically powerful tributes in the Games, he remains solitary and does not join the Careers’ alliance. He refuses to reveal much about himself in his interview, does not speak to any of the other tributes, and does not engage in training.

In the Games, Katniss does not see Thresh and she later finds out this is because Thresh is one of the few tributes to venture into the field of tall grains near the Cornucopia. He does this because he used to this kind of terrain because he comes from the agriculture district, like Rue. Tho...
