Pronouns: you vs. thou
Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet includes a range of pronouns that seem archaic today, such as “thou”, “thee”, “thine”, and “thy”. This obviously has to do with the age of the play, but the characters’ use of pronouns also holds information about the relationship between the characters or their social status.
