Departure and homecoming
Some of the actions in the novella The Little Prince by by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry are deeply symbolic. The little prince appears like a savior on Earth who comes from another star. Just like the pilot, he literally "dropped down from the sky" (9%). The serpent, itself a symbol in Christian texts, describes the little prince as "innocent and true" 61%).
At the end of the novella, the little prince dies, leaving only his mortal shell behind to ascend back to the sky. During his journey he has gained many insights. He has become clear about his love for his flower and has understood that love means taking the other person seriously. Only because the little prince has dared to depart can he return to his flower with new insights.
