Friendship
One of the main themes in John Boyne's novel The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is that of friendship. Friendship is defined as the positive feeling of two people whose relationship with each other is characterized by sympathy. Friends trust each other and know each other's strengths and weaknesses.
