Mr. Ramirez

Mr. Ramirez is a main character in the short story “I See You Never” by Ray Bradbury. He is a Mexican man working in Los Angeles, USA. He came to the United States with a temporary visa. He has been working for 30 months at the airplane factory (p. 108, ll. 22-26). Mr. Ramirez is Mrs. O’Brian’s tenant. He owns a radio and a wristwatch (p. 108, ll. 72-76). Since his visa expired six months ago, the police came to deport him back to Mexico.

Mr. Ramirez is a hard-working man. He has kept his job at the airplane factory even after the war, which suggests he is good at it (p. 108, ll. 21-26).
