Nobody

Nobody is the main character of “Nobody’s story” by Charles Dickens. He is a poor man who works as a laborer, and he has a large family and many children. 

Nobody can be described as a God-fearing, hard-working individual. Nobody is the provider of his family, although some members work themselves: 

He was one of an immense family, all of whose sons and daughters gained their daily bread by daily work, prolonged from their rising up betimes until their lying down at night. Beyond this destiny he had no prospect, and he sought none. (p.3 ll.16-20)
