The article “Binge Drinking is Good for You” by Jeremy Clarkson was published in the British newspaper The Sunday Times on 2nd of September, 2007.

Jeremy Clarkson has a regular column in this paper. The article is largely a response to anti-drinking campaigns in Britain during that time, promoted by the British authorities or media like the BBC, as indicated by several references in the text: “The BBC says that if you drink too much your brain stem will break and you will die.
