Narrator and point of view

The short story “The Destructors” by Graham Greene is told from the point of view of a third-person narrator

The narrator is omniscient and allows the reader to see the thoughts and feelings of multiple characters in the story. The narrator also gives more insight and context to the events of the text that readers would otherwise not have. For example, the narrator says the reason why Mr. Thomas has his toilet in the shed in the garden is that the bombs had affected his plumbing and he did not want to spend money on having someone fix them and did not know how to fix them himself.
