Characters

The story “Logjam” by Ron Wallace features three active characters, Peterson, Christine, and their daughter Phoebe. Peterson and Christine are the most relevant ones as the story focuses on their conflict. Phoebe is mostly relevant for showing how tensions and conflicts between parents affect children negatively and put them in the middle of unwanted arguments.

Peterson is one of the most important characters in the short story, as the whole narrative is conveyed using his point of view. Christine is presented only from Peterson’s point of view. However, she is key to the development of the main conflict in the story.
