Jennifer L. Eberhardt’s TED talk “How racial bias works – and how to disrupt it” can be split into five parts depending on the topics she addresses. 

In the introduction (ll. 1-17), Eberhardt shares a personal anecdote, which presents the topic of her talk. She discusses how her five-year-old son displayed unconscious racial bias when he suggested that a black man would rob a plane. She uses this example to show the extent and danger of stereotypes, such as the association between black people and crime, and racial bias. 

In the first part (ll. 18-40) of the talk, Eberhardt gives examples of racial bias in different fields. She presents examples from studies she has conducted, which show that black people are treated differently in the criminal justice or education systems. ...
