Sender

The sender of the article “End all immigration controls – they’re a sign we value money more than people” is Gary Younge, who is a British author, journalist, and professor of sociology. Younge is also an editor for The Guardian. 

In his article, Younge talks about his black identity: 

… borders have always been a tense issue for me. With those in uniform struggling to match the colour of my face to the crest on my passport, how could it be otherwise? To be black and on the move in the west is to be an object of suspicion. (ll. 44-46)
