Antithesis

An antithesis is the construction of a contrast between different things, events, objects, etc. The most eye-catching example of antithesis in the speech is: “America is a nation of believers, dreamers, and strivers that is being led by a group of censors, critics, and cynics.” (ll. 565-566).
