Setting

The events presented in the short film “Reappear” by Tommy Clarke take place in England. The main events happen in the coastal town of Bournemouth, where Frank initially assumes his father has taken his photo. However, Christina guides him and shows him Boscombe Pier, the exact place where the photo was taken. The events take place over one day, from early morning to the following morning. 

Most of the scenes take place outdoors. For example, the film begins with a few outdoor shots (00:48-01:06) that illustrate Frank’s long journey to retrace his father’s footsteps.
