Characters

The main character of Raymond Carver’s short story “One More Thing” is L.D.. The story revolves around him and the relationship between him and his family. He is not a developing character, since his way of acting and thinking remain the same throughout the story.

Rae is the daughter of Maxine and L.D. She is another secondary character in the short story. Rae is the rebellious teenager who comes from a dysfunctional family. Neither of them are developing characters.
