Summary

In “Mink” by Marina Warner, Beatrice and her sister Riccarda (Ricky) are fascinated by their mother Donna and the woman’s passion for fur and fashion. Donna dreams of a mink coat and explains the differences between different types of fur to her daughters.

On Sundays, Donna usually cooks leftovers with the girls while she continues to talk to them about furs and share Vogue magazine fashion details. This would make the girls want to imitate being fashionable in the mirror.
