Contrasts

Part of your assignment requires you to look at the use of contrasts in Corina Zappia’s article “Losing Whiteness When You Lose Your Father”. Zappia uses contrasts in three main instances: to describe how she sees herself and how others see her, to illustrate the difference between common social stereotypes and her reality, and to show the differences between her Asian and European ancestries.
