Miles

Miles is the main character of the short film “Light My Fire” directed by Bobb Barito. His outer characterization shows that he is a middle-aged man. Miles has a teenage daughter named Lucy, who has been attacked by a boy named Clark. Miles is also wearing a wedding ring, but the film does not show his wife and does not mention where she is. It is possible she is dead since Miles seems to be alone in taking care of his daughter.

When it comes to his inner characterization, Miles initially comes across as an aggressive man. After he finds out Clark has hurt Lucy, he is prepared to confront him. He is shown bursting out of the house in an act of rage (00:27) and constantly cursing at an imaginary Clark. 

While Miles is driving, his rage intensifies....
