Clark's father

Clark’s father is another important character in the short film “Light My Fire” directed by Bobb Barito. His outer characterization shows that he lives in a big house, that he is married, and that he has a teenage son named Clark. The man is bald, he owns an aggressive Rottweiler, and he is standing at a higher level on the grass than Miles throughout the film. These factors make Clark’s father rather intimidating. 

His inner characterization reveals that he is an authoritarian man, who intimidates Miles (02:43-02:51). At first, he seems to want to avoid violence, as he asks Miles to put the bat down: “We’re not getting anywhere ‘till you put the bat down” (02:54-02:56). However, his true nature is shown when he finds out that Clark has hit another...
