The text begins with Trespicio talking about being laid off from her job at Martha Stewart, an American media and lifestyle company. Trespicio talks about the pressure of pursuing the passion that drove her in her former job and about her belief that people should not focus on pursuing a single passion, ignoring any other career choice.
