Intention

Terri Trespicio’s main intention in “Stop Searching For Your Passion” is to make people realize that they do not need to find their passion before they can start a career or their lives. Her idea is that passion will follow once we start working with something and become good at it. 

Trespicio presents her idea when she talks about her own professional experience. For example, she uses self-irony to show the audience that she has started a career in sales even though she had no experience and was not passionate about jewelry (ll. 47-50)
