Assesment: Uber's future potential

The three sources present both positive and negative aspects of Uber. On the one hand, the app offers amateur drivers a way to earn a living and offers a cheap and quick ride to its customers. On the other hand, the taxi industry criticises Uber evading regular taxes and costs involved in licensing and insurance that most taxi companies and taxi drivers have to pay. Their services are consequently undercut by Uber and this is very damaging to their industry.
