The film The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) directed by Gabriele Muccino uses several camera angles and perspectives to tell the story and provide valuable insight into the characters.

Close-ups are used to create focus on what a character is doing, or to highlight the importance of an object in the context of the story. When the camera focuses on an object, it is usually meant to convey to the viewers that this object is significant to the narrative, either as a symbol, or that it will play an important part later in the development of the story.
