Terrorist attacks 

David Cameron’s speech on Radicalization, Islamic Extremism and the failure of state multiculturalism comes in the context of several terrorist attacks that had taken place in many parts of the world in the early 2000’s and have been claimed by Islamic extremism organization. One such example was the attacks from the 11th of September 2001, when multiple planes were hijacked and two were crashed into the World Trade Center in New York.

On the 5th of June 2005, four suicide bombers attacked London’s public transport system. Three bombs were detonated in the London Underground, while a fourth exploded on a double-decker bus. The attacks resulted in 52 deaths and 770 injuries.
