Intention

In this part, we will consider John F. Kennedy’s intention in delivering his "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech in West Berlin on 26th of June, 1963.

Kennedy’s main intentions are to demonstrate the support of the United States for West Germany and West Berlin after the construction of the Berlin Wall and also to argue against the Communist system.

Part of Kennedy’s speech is intended to show the support of the US for West Germany and West Berlin.
