Narrator and point of view

The short story “The Fabulous Button Sisters” by Sarah Salway is a first-person account of a character-narrator, Karen.

The narrative is done following the main events which might mean that – at the time of the narration – the storyteller is already a grown-up woman. However, she confines herself to the point of view of teenage Karen and her limited knowledge of the events.
