Exam question
This study guide is based on the written exam in English A on HTX from October 2013:
Presentation of the topic
Overpopulation is traditionally defined as the increase of the human population up to the point that it exceeds the normal capacity of a particular place. Nowadays, there are two prevalent opinions about overpopulation: one group believes in the benefits of population decline, while the other believes that population control will only benefit the rich. Nevertheless, we must acknowledge that overpopulation is a real issue for our planet, threatening to change our quality of life in the following decades. However, there are a few measures that can make this issue less problematic and there are ways in which the planet’s population can be controlled naturally.
