Rhythm and rhyme

Most songs are much like poems, following certain rhythm and rhyme schemes. In the case of rap music, rhymes are essential as they provide a certain melody to a song that is mostly recited or spoken. Rhythm is given by the way the singer decides to stress certain words, according to his/her message. “Brenda’s Got A Baby” makes no exception to the rapping style.
