The article “The Ideas Shaping a New India” by Anand Giridharadas discusses different ways in which India has changed over the past twenty years. Giridharadas explains that while India became independent of British rule much earlier, it was only in 1991 that it introduced a new series of economic measures that shaped the country into what it is today.
