Regarding its structure, the TED talk has a title, an introduction, a main body, and a conclusion. Additionally, the speech ends with a Q&A (questions and answers) between the host and Saujani.

The speaker uses both direct and indirect argumentation. Moreover, the speaker becomes persuasive by introducing facts and examples that support her views.

Reshma Saujani uses three forms of appeal in her speech - ethos, logos, and pathos - but the dominant one is ethos. Also, you can identify rhetorical devices like repetition, rhetorical questions, direct address, irony, contrasts, and metaphorical language.
