Daisy Craig Kadibill

In the film Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002) directed by Phillip Noyce, Daisy Craig Kadibill is Molly’s younger half-sister. Daisy is an Aboriginal girl who lives in the community of Jigalong. 

In Jigalong, Daisy is depicted as an active participant in her community even at her young age, engaging in everyday activities like hunting and following the trails of wildlife. Her carefree nature changes abruptly when she, her sister, Molly, and her cousin Gracie, are forcibly taken away from their family by white authorities. This traumatic experience reveals Daisy's vulnerability, as she is torn away from her loved ones, causing her distress and fear.

At Moore River, Daisy is mostly quiet and afraid and clings to her older sister. However, it is later shown that Daisy is a courageous young girl who, along with Molly and Gracie, embarks on a daring journey to find their way back home from Moore River. Though Daisy is at first scared to run away and cautions Molly that the tracker will find them, she eventually trusts in her older sister and follows her lead (00:30:25).
