Summary

“Miss Brill” by Katherine Mansfield tells the story of a teacher, Miss Brill, who goes out every Sunday to the Jardins Publiques. In this particular episode, Miss Brill takes out a fur from a box, cleans it, and wears it to the park.

Miss Brill notices that there are more people in the park this Sunday. The band that plays in the park is also louder because the Season has begun.

Two people sit next to Miss Brill – a woman and a man. She notices that they do not speak, and she is disappointed because she likes to listen to the conversations of those around her.
