The speaker mentions she loves her lover with the same kind of love she thought she lost with her “old saints”:

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. (ll. 11-12)

In this line, the old saints could symbolize the people the speaker once loved and held in high regard and whom she lost. This could be because the people have left her life or because she realized they were not as saintly as she had initially believed.

Another interpretation could be that the old saints she is referring to are actual saints, and the loss of the saints symbolizes the loss of her faith in a higher power. However, the speaker goes on to indirectly invoke God in the next line. Thus, it can be assumed the speaker is still religious, and most likely the loss...
