Language

“The Fun They Had” by Isaac Asimov is a sci-fi short story intended for children. Consequently, its language is very simple and easy to follow by all types of readers. Narrative passages are mixed with child-like dialogue, evoking the way children tend to brag and their naivety. Tommy calls Margie “stupid” and the girl keeps asking questions and being mistrustful:

"A man? How could a man be a teacher?"
