Summary
“The Baddest Dog in Harlem” by Walter Dean Myers starts with the narrator and his friends, who are outside a restaurant arguing about who is the best boxer of all time. An older man, Mr. Lynch, comes and joins their discussion. Soon afterwards, two police cars stop nearby and the officers ask the group how long they have been outside. The policemen believe there is a shooter hiding in a building nearby. Soon a crowd of people gathers, and more patrol cars come to the place.
