Another work by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is the short story  “The Arrangers of Marriage”. Like “Chinasa”, “The Arrangers of Marriage” is also an example of feminist fiction. The story presents Chinaza, a young woman who is not afraid to make her life better, but who also takes into consideration the Nigerian traditions. Chinaza wants to go to university and also start making her own money.

“Imitation” is another short story by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. In the story, a Nigerian woman who lives in the United States with her children finds out her husband has a mistress in Nigeria where he often travels to for work. This makes her realize her marriage is only an imitation of what she believes a marriage should be, and she decides to move back to Nigeria to build the family she wants. This short story is also an example of post-colonial literature.

"How To Tell a True War Story" by Tim O’Brien also deals with the theme of war. The short story explores how different characters deal with their trauma of war and their ways of coping. Seeing people dying around them, especially their friends, affects the characters’ mental and physical health.
