Presentation of the topic

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to intelligence exhibited by machines (digital systems, robots, etc.), rather than people or animals. Forms of Artificial Intelligence have already been developed such as computer programs and software, self-driving cars, robots, etc.

However, none of the existing forms of AI possess self-awareness and self-consciousness, which remain important attributes of human intelligence. While opinions about whether making self-aware AI is possible or desirable are still divided, most scientists agree that further developing AI could have numerous benefits on humanity, particularly if the AI understands and respects human values.
