Arnold Schwarzenegger’s speech “This is an illegal war” follows a relatively clear composition and can roughly be split into four parts. 

In the first part, Schwarzenegger talks about his friendship with Yury Petrovich Vlasov, the winner of the World Weightlifting Championship of 1961. Schwarzenegger presents this story in the introduction of his speech in order to describe his personal experience with the Russian people.
