Narrator and point of view

The short story “Legacy” by PR Woods is told from the point of view of a third-person narrator, who has access to the thoughts and feelings of Jola, the main character.

The narrator is limited, as there is no insight into the minds of other characters. As well as this, the narrator only gradually offers information about Jola’s plan, allowing readers to discover it only as it unfolds.
