It is interesting to observe that, in his statement, Rafael Behr makes a clear distinction between the words “career” and “job”:
He implies that the “career” automatically excludes having “a life”. What Behr may want to suggest is that, for men, having a career today unquestionably means giving up on your passions and your personal life, including your family.
