Intention

Dwight Eisenhower’s main intention in his “Atoms for Peace” speech is to inform the audience of the need to use atomic power for peaceful purposes. Eisenhower also has the secondary intention of persuading nations to join his plan of creating an international atomic energy agency.

Eisenhower uses logos in the beginning of his speech to present factual information and statistics about atomic power.
