The sender of the speech is the First Lady Michelle Obama. She is very passionate about her husband’s goal of transforming America into the country with the highest number of college graduates by 2020. She is also a woman whose personal experience as a child coming from a modest family entitles her to deliver the speech. She has managed to overcome the difficulties encountered both in her personal life and in school and she created a successful career for herself.
