The music of a film is an important compositional element as it is a means of conveying further aspects about the plot and the atmosphere of the film. ‘Setting’ refers to when and where the action takes place. “We’ve All Been There” is set in Australia and is filmed in three locations: on a remote road, at a diner, and in Jess and Matt’s home. The time setting is contemporary, as we see Joan driving a modern car and using a mobile phone.
