Patrick

In Stephen Chbosky’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Patrick is Sam’s stepbrother. They are the same age, so he is also around 17 when the novel starts. He moved to the high school fairly recently, when his dad married Sam’s mom. In Charlie’s opinion, Patrick “seemed like the kind of guy you could just walk up to at a football game even though you were three years younger and not popular.” (p. 21).
