Summary
The short story “The Other Couple” by Sandra Marslund features a couple on vacation. While they are having breakfast in the hotel restaurant, the narrator notices another couple eating there. She is surprised because they were told there were no other guests in the hotel. The narrator’s partner does not notice them. He wants to go on a hike, but the narrator wants to remain in the cove and talk. They end up going hiking.
