Potential problems in cross-cultural relationships

The short film “Prom” by Imran J. Khan approaches the topic of potential problems in cross-cultural relationships through Bethany’s parents’ reaction to the relationship between their daughter and Hasan. Bethany’s parents believe that Hasan is not a good partner for Bethany at prom because he would be seen by their family and friends in photographs from the event (06:17-06:26).
