Mike Pence begins his National Veterans Day Observance speech by stating that Veterans Day is the holiday when America remembers those who served and came home. He then tells the audience that Veterans Day was established at the end of World War I, and thanks the audience for continuing the observance of this holiday. He also brings greetings from President Donald Trump who, Pence explains, is traveling overseas, but has asked Pence to come to Arlington and honor veterans.
