In this section, we will talk about the audience of Michelle Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2016, including the wider audience who watched her speech through different kinds of media.

The speech was delivered on the night of the 26th of July, 2016, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during the Democratic National Convention. The speech was delivered at the Wells Fargo Center, which seats over 40,000 people. In the televised version of the speech, the live audience can been seen and heard cheering and applauding throughout the speech and holding up signs with Michelle Obama’s name on them, expressing their support.

The wider audience of the speech is much larger, as the speech was televised by several TV networks and broadcast on social media. The total number of viewers of the second night of the convention was over 24 million people.

Note that although the speech was delivered at the Democratic National Convention, the televised version reached other Democrats, Republicans, and an international audience as well.
