Introduction

The third question of the HF B assignment from December 4th 2018 asks you to discuss how social status influences people’s behaviour, taking your starting point in the short film “I Don’t Make the Rules” by Law Chen. You should also use at least two of the following phrases: though, whether, on the contrary, then, however, primarily, nonetheless, finally.

The phrases you have to use in your discussion are linking phrases. Some of them help you introduce new points and arguments (primarily, finally). Others help you introduce alternative arguments or explanations (whether, nonetheless, then), or show an exception or a comparison (however, on the contrary, though).
