Literary perspectives

The short story “Safe Enough” by Lee Child falls into the genre of crime fiction. Crime fictions quite often present a mystery. In “Safe Enough, initially, no one knows what happened to Mr. Lovell. The story also includes a crime as Lovell was killed by Wolfe, whose identity as the killer is revealed only at the end. 

At the same time, Lee Child leaves readers clues that Wolfe was behind the murder through symbols and foreshadowing elements.
