In the short film, "Marriage of Inconvenience", tension is created by Paul’s homosexuality and his desire (and plan) to marry his boyfriend. His parents have a difficult time in accepting this idea. The pastor is completely against it and does not even want to speak with his son. The mother, however, tries to be supportive of her son’s plan to marry another man, but only up to a point. This leads to another conflict between the two spouses.
